Striking garlands and bouquets of brightly coloured blooms adorn a richly textured ground in the Ghirlanda Collection. This stunning painterly floral is digitally printed onto pure tumbled linen in two fabulous colourways for beautiful curtains, cushions and blinds. Moselle Lino is an elegant collection of weaves featuring a sophisticated mix of natural textures, with a focus on linen. Tortona is a contemporary plain weave created with a cotton/linen blended yarn resulting in a subtly textured stone washed effect.

This is a joyful, vibrant fusion as Sophie Robinson's eclectic style meets Harlequin's quality and innovation. A burst of patterns and colours will bring your home to life. From striking wallpapers to luxurious fabrics, this collection has it all.

Elegance is a hallmark of fabrics and wallpapers from Colefax and Fowler. Graceful and timeless, the Ashdown, Ruskin and Elmscott collections are now available to view in our library.

Emulating the graceful glamour of the 18th century hand painted Chinoiserie wallpapers, popular in grand houses, the Ashdown collection features birds, butterflies, bamboo and rustic foliage.

In Ruskin, an informal jacquard woven damask is given a distinctive texture through a combination of innovative dyeing and finishing techniques. Decorative and textural, this fabric has a three dimensional aspect with an ever timeless style.

The Colefax and Fowler story for 2021 is one of rich layers - of skill, craft and technique and of course design and colour.

There is both an Eastern and an antique influence - evidenced in the rich, nuanced colours that run throughout the collection of subtle prints, distinctive embroideries, multi-faceted weaves, decorative braids and beautiful sheers.

SUSTAINABLE fashion has emerged as a key theme and this is currently a growing trend that is being replicated in the home.

Siobhan McNeilly, Interior Designer said: “We are noticing a growing increase in the number of our interior design clients being influenced by the sustainability and the environment around them and this quite often determines the direction of the project.

For example, we have seen a rise in the people coming to us for inspiration on how they can change the look of a room by utilising furniture they already have or by upcycling to inject new life into – there are so many ways to do this, for example recovering a sofa instead of buying a new one – and then adding new accessories.”

According to Pinterest, searched and saves for ‘Feng shui décor’ are up 137% as people try to de-stress and re-energize the spaces they’re both living and working in. In addition to this, more and more people are trying to bring a little of the relaxing, lush outdoors home with them with the leading social media site stating a 108% increase in searches and saves for ‘bring outdoors inside’ – this is something Wardens of Newtownards believes is being reflected in the new season trends for the home.

Raymond Morrison, Interior Designer from Wardens of Newtownards added: “For Spring 2020 people are definitely infusing their homes with the nature. Incorporating greenery and botanicals is very strong as is floral wallpaper. We are seeing a new love for Eastern, tribal and animal prints which reflects this trend. The new Clarissa Hulse Costa Rica Fern bedding is inspired by Costa Rica’s renowned cloud forests and pulls in nature’s beauty to any bedroom.

Furniture is echoing nature and organic forms. The new Baker Veletta furniture collection is hand crafted from solid reclaimed wood and in keeping with ‘bringing the outdoors inside’ this seasons colours are very much all about greens, burnt orange, ochre, blues and nudes.
