Q: I have chosen the delivery method 'Deliver to Couple' - What does this mean?

A: This delivery method means that when we receive your order, we will contact the couple to let them know someone has purchased a gift from their wedding list. It is then at the convenience of the couple whether they then choose to collect the gift from our store or if they would like us to deliver the gift to their chosen address.


Q: Do I pay for gift-wrapping and delivery?

A: No, we offer a free gift-wrapping and free delivery service to our Couple's chosen address for gifts bought off our wedding lists.


Q: Can I buy a gift online?

A: Yes, as of spring 2012, we are pleased to be able to offer a ‘buy online’ service. You can view the couple’s list via our website, select a gift and be guided through the buying process. You will be offered the same delivery options as those which are available in-store, i.e. in-store collection or delivery to the couple.


Q: I've added my wedding gift to my basket but now I want to browse the main catalogue - I get an error message, what does this mean?

A: The error message reads 'You have items from wedding list in your basket. You cannot order from our main catalogue until your wedding list order is complete.' This means that you need to finish your wedding list purchase before you browse our main catalogue - select the 'Return to Wedding List' link. If you would like to add an item from our main catalogue that is not on the wedding list to go along with the gift from the wedding list, please complete one transaction at a time. You can choose to 'Add Wardens Gift Wrapping' option at the main checkout and leave a personal message to be added to the gift card. Please indicate the wedding list number after the message.


Q: If the gift I choose is not available, is it substituted for another item?

A: No, if the gift you have chosen is not available, you will be contacted as soon as possible. We may offer the couple the chance to choose an alternative of which you will be notified. We do not send substitute gifts unlike many other stores.


Q: Can I have my gift shipped abroad?

A: Gifts are delivered directly to the couple at their chosen address or alternatively, can be collected in-store for you to deliver yourself.


Q: If I don’t like any of the gifts on the list, can I choose a gift myself?

A: Yes, you can choose a gift which is not on the list. However, the items on the list are the preferred choice of the couple. Often the couple will appreciate Wardens Gift Vouchers with which they can then use towards a gift of their choice or put towards larger items.
